Belgrade, January 22, 2021 - In order to support the development of local tourism in Serbia, Visa has signed a cooperation agreement with the company Ski Card, which includes a number of benefits throughout the year for visitors of mountain resorts in Serbia.
To all lovers of skiing, hiking, trekking or those who are just enjoying the mountain scenery, these companies offer more affordable terms for paying membership fees under the benefits program called Ski Card, as well as additional convenience from partners when paying for accommodation, sports equipment, ski lessons, ski passes, wellness and spa programs, but also catering services.
"The tourism sector in Serbia, as in other parts of the world, has suffered great losses since the beginning of the pandemic, which is why Visa strives to contribute to its recovery by these actions, encouraging people to choose locally. We plan to expand our partnership with Ski Card in the coming period and make these benefits available to customers in the region", Vladimir Đorđević, general manager of Visa for Southeast Europe pointed out.
At the moment, the Ski Card benefits program includes the services and products of partner companies on Kopaonik, Zlatibor, Divčibare, Jahorina and Stara Planina, and their list is constantly expanding.
„Partnership with Visa will bring an added value of service to our skiers, and our already competitve offer make even richer with interesting benefits which will definitely position Ski Card as a must have part of "skiing go to pack" in Serbia", stated Miloš Vukoje, director of Ski kartica d.o.o. company.
As part of the cooperation between Visa and the company Ski Card, Visa is planning to launch a co-brand program
including payment capability and the mobile App. Ski Card members will have the chance to find the best offers, but also to collect points and get rewards at the Ski Card merchant partners.
